Laundry Love will help out to get laundry Cleaned

The Laundry Love initiative is for folks who could use a little extra help with their laundry. It partners with local churches and a laundromat to wash the clothes and linens of low-income or no-income families and individuals.

Laundry Love Vouchers that cover laundry expenses (quarters and detergent), snacks, water, and even needed clothing and hygiene products.

Community Action Human Resources Agency (CAHRA) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families in Pinal County, Arizona. The Dorothy Powell Senior Center offers a nutritiously balanced meal to seniors 50 years of age or older. Family members are also welcome to come and join seniors for lunch. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to noon. 

 

Senior Citizen Services

The Dorothy Powell Senior Center provides residents with the opportunity to experience recreational, cultural, and educational programming in a friendly atmosphere. The Dorothy Powell Senior Center is open to individuals 50 or older. Tours and an explanation of programs are available during normal operating hours.

Transportation to and from the Center for Congregate Meals will be available. Participants must call 520-421-8760 to schedule a ride. A suggested donation of $3 each way.
