“Embarking on Sacred Pathways: A Journey of Fellowship”

Welcome to the threshold of fellowship at the United Methodist Church of Casa Grande, a sanctuary where your spiritual odyssey is embraced. As you enter this hallowed congregation, you’ll be welcomed into a family anchored in the principles of universal acceptance and the deep-rooted values of baptism. Here, membership transcends a mere affiliation; it’s a pledge to journey alongside kindred spirits, to honor the tapestry of distinct experiences, and to rejoice in each unique spiritual voyage. Delve into the avenues of belonging, comprehend the essence of Confirmation, and secure your niche within our dynamic fold, committed to the service of God and kin. Your pilgrimage commences with us.

WHAT IT MEANS

Your Christian Baptism:
We honor and recognize Christian baptisms from any denomination. If you have been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, you have already taken the first step toward membership.

Pathways to Membership:
Embark on your journey to membership at the United Methodist Church of Casa Grande through various pathways tailored to your unique spiritual pilgrimage:

PROFESSION OF FAITH

Declare your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. For youth, this often coincides with the process of Confirmation.

RENEWAL OF VOWS

If you’ve been inactive in another church, you can renew your Christian vows to become a part of our community.

TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP

Easily transfer your membership from another United Methodist church or a different Christian denomination.

AFFILIATE OR ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

For those who wish to maintain membership in another church, perhaps a hometown church, but still want to be a part of our community.

READY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Once you decide to become a member, you’ll be invited to stand before the congregation and make a commitment to the church’s ministries. You’ll be asked:

“As a member of this congregation, will you faithfully participate in its ministries through your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness?”

We would be honored to guide you through this significant milestone in your faith journey. Please get in touch with Pastor Steve to discuss the next steps.

Confirmation

Although confirmation is not a sacrament in the United Methodist Church, it is an important step along one’s spiritual journey. In the United Methodist Church, Confirmation is an opportunity for people to recognize God’s work of grace in their lives and embrace being disciples of Jesus Christ.
